Public lands are one of the great things about living in this country. Discover your river.

As the official nonprofit organization for the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area, a unit of the National Park Service located in Minnesota’s Twin Cities metro area, MPC supports the national park by connecting people to the outdoors through hands-on, meaningful experiences on public lands.

Each year the MPC provides an annual report of its nonprofit goals and activities, and they use that opportunity to build community and publicize programs built for the public good.

I created several illustrations for this publication, including a map showing the scope of their work through the region, a strip of instructions for planting trees and icons for a graphic "by the numbers" page. For the rest of the space, we prioritized large photo spreads of the community participating in their programs. I facilitated printing and mailing 500 reports to donors and lawmakers.
